Hello, and welcome to the website.

This web site is dedicated to the fans of the Marvel Comics character, Spider-Man, who are unhappy with the current status quo of the character.

For those unaware of what's happened to make the fans unhappy, in December 2007, Peter (Spider-Man) Parker and his wife Mary Jane made a Faust-like deal with Mephisto to save the life of Spider-Man's dying Aunt May, but at the cost of their marriage and all knowledge of it was magically erased from the memories of Peter, Mary Jane and the entire Marvel Universe. As a result, fans have become upset that the Spider-Marriage fans know, love and enjoyed since 1987 was taken away so that Peter could be single again and he has been since the "Brand New Day" storyline of "The Amazing Spider-Man" started in January 2008. However, not all of the fans are pleased with the retcon of the Spider-Marriage, with some fans saying they've cancelled their subscriptions and the monthly sales of the comics, while they were up since last year, have been dropping month after month as a result. There have also been various internet petitions created and signed by fans who are unhappy with the loss of the Spider-Marriage. While Marvel has Mary Jane in the monthly comics as a supporting character, it is not the same and in one issue, she even called her current boyfriend "Tiger", a nickname many fans of Spider-Man know that she has given Peter, as shown from the comics, motion pictures, animated series, and so on. This has not sat well with me, nor with any other fans upset by this. So, to prove to Marvel how serious we, the fans of the Spider-Marriage, are, this website has been created to show that we want the Spider-Marriage restored into continuity, where we feel it belongs.

If you would like to show your support, you can check out and/or sign any of the petitions that have been created to save the Spider-Marriage.  But be warned: some, but not all, of those that have signed the IPetitions counterpart has hateful comments and, in some cases, profanity, neither of which I approve of and I do NOT recommend anyone under the age of 18 read any of the comments left in the Signatures section.  If you DO decide to sign any of the petitions listed, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE HATEFUL COMMENTS OR PROFANITY.  THEY WILL NOT BE INCLUDED WHEN THE PETITONS ARE SENT BY MAIL.  When the time comes, when all of the signatures have been collected and printed off, the comments with hateful remarks and profanity WILL be taken out by me by scribbled over with a pen or marker, or cut out altogether by scissors.  These petitions are made to politely convince Marvel to retcon, well, the retcon of the Spider-Marriage, BUT DO SO IN A POLITE MANNER WITH NO PROFANITY, PLEASE. While I, too, am disappointed, no mean comments will be sent.  Thank you for reading this.
